Judging from comments from some, e.g. Eric S wrote about this on Zwift Insider, Gravel Mountain’s routes felt a bit slow due to the very wide roads. Presumably Zwift thought that implementating a speed boost solved that “problem” and it seems that it tested ok for them. But the combination of very large fields of riders and some people’s specific configs produced undesirable effects, so Zwift have gone back to figure that stuff out. Restoring it would the speed boost is one obvious option, but Zwift may want to see if they can sort out speed boost issues first?
it was not a prologue, all of stage one was supposed to be on the Red Rock Loop, it was switched to Jungle due to the issues.
Hi there,
i allways check zwiftpower to have an idea how im doing againts my pace group riders and for the PAS Racing Standard i get only a finish time of the Stage 2 (which i just finished) and not for the stage 1 (which i did twice, after the mess up). on top, the finish time is not the one showed in the race results…. anyone having similar issues?
cheers
everyone is having a similar issue, because Zwift pulled the results from stage 1 so it doesn’t count. They nullified stage 1 due to the changing of the route from Gravel Mnt to Jungle Circuit after a number of people had already completed stage 1.
Ok, but in Zwiftpower, I saw people having the 2 stages counted, and my only one (the second) showed 5 min more. However I just checked now, and it’s all showing 1 stage and the number is as it should be…
confused…
My PAS Racing (Standard race from April 11th Jungle Route) was deleted as a result of today’s ZP update/refresh.
Do I have to re-race stage 1 again to get my result in ZP results?
It still shows on my profile page though.
no, stage one was nullified due to the issues from gravel mountain, it would be unfair to rank riders using 2 different routes.

I get that. But my race was jungle route and I thought should be included in ZP. It’s not there.
they removed stage 1 from the GC results, it will not be there
It looked fine four years ago.
four year old video gravel mountain ride
it took him ten minutes to do a lap at 4 w/kg
Look again. When the avatar is standing it’s doing waaaaay more than 75rpm. That video is speeded up significantly.
Still missing the XP.
I’ve done a few more rides, and at the end of ride progress report, none would indicate that the missing XP has been applied.
Drop an email to support and they’ll fix that for you.
That’s just the playback on YouTube. He didn’t think people would watch a 24 minute video.
Yes I know, and said as much, but you said “It looked fine”. If Zwift artificially speeded it up, and he effectively did the same, then we still haven’t seen it at “normal” speed, so how can we actually know if it looks fine or not? ![]()
@Jason_J_SPM I raced Stage 2 yesterday and noticed there’s no banner anywhere on the course, not even at the finish line. Probably explains why there aren’t any PUs.
Ya the race also finishes about 20m past the end arch.
this series is going great…
