Pairing problems!

Hi zwift team!

I’m a triathlete and as I finally decided to connect to the zwift world and have some virtual rides with my friends, I ended up with dissapointment :frowning:

I downloaded zwift app in my android mobile, I logged in, I prepared my lovely avatar but it is impossible to pair it with my Garmin speed and cadence sensors 2 cause it doesn’t find them. I tried everything - I have even changed the sensor’s battery - but still doesn’t work.

If you could suggest me anything that might be helpful, I’m all ears…!

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

Are these sensors bluetooth or ant+, or both? What version of Android is your phone also?

Hi Mike,

First of all, I’d like to thank you for your response…
To the point now… My sensors have both Bluetooth and ANT+…
My mobile has Android version 10.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you, if you have any ideas or suggestions…

Hi @Danelaki_Mac, I would start by reading the forum post below and making sure you have all the correct plug-ins, etc…

I’ve already done this Mike…
I follow exactly the steps describing here, but still my sensors can’t be found.
I verify that ANT+ is enabled automatically by zwift and then asks me to enable Bluetooth and location as well…
Then I tap on speed sensor searching (selecting tire type 700x25cc), where no sensor is found …
The same with cadence sensor :frowning:

Thank you anyway…

Do you have a second device that you could test the sensors on? A garmin head unit/bike computer or anything?

My sensors are paired perfectly with my two Garmin watches…Vivoactive and Fenix
The problem is only when trying to pairing them with Zwift… Unfortunately…

are the watches paired when trying to also pair to Zwift, maybe they are stealing the signal?

No, sweetie…
I thought exactly the same as you, so I totally canceled them by my watches just in case, but still zwift couldn’t find them…

ok, what about the phone’s bluetooth pairing screen, are they paired to the phone before opening Zwift? I believe it is best to unpair them from the phone and let Zwift find them.

Other than that, I’m stumped

Are you sure your ANT+ is working properly? I can Zwift on my Android mobile with both BT and location disabled!

You had a clue Milan…I’ve tried it also with a garmin USB ant+ connected to my phone and still doesn’t get the signal from the sensors…
Unfortunately, I cannot pair them and I don’t know what else to try…!
But thank you anyways for your help
