Pairing Issues- Unable to pair Zwift via Zwift Companion App - Apple TV [April, 2024]

Hi all,

When I start a zwift ride on apple tv, I have to use “connect via phone” as my BT connections are limited. Yet in phone mode, my zwift play controllers are not detected (everything else is). Only in BT mode, my controllers are found (but then I cannot pair a controller and a HR monitor).

How can I solve this issue?

I checked your server logs and found that your trainer Wahoo move was paired via the Direct Connect connection type, is that correct? I’m asking this because to use virtual shifting your trainer Wahoo Kickr Move must be paired over Bluetooth. For more info on pairing, check out this article.

I would recommend you un-install and re-install the Zwift companion app and try a fresh pairing using the Zwift companion app as a bridge. If you need help on this process please, check out this article.
