Cannot pair thru companion app

I have a zwift Ride with the 5 connections, using apple TV. I can pair 4 connections but not the fifth (HR).

When I try to pair using the companion app, it’s not finding anything to pair to. My phone is on the same wifi as the apple TV.

What am I missing?

I wonder if you’re trying to pair via the Equipment menu in Companion?

The way to pair via Companion can be slightly non-intuitive, and is explained in this article:

Thanks. I have read that, but it doesn’t help. I can pair everything except my HR. The HR is recognized in the app through Apple TV and can pair it, but I’m limited to 3 connections, so I have to remove the HR pairing. When I try to pair the HR through the companion app it’s not recognizing it even though it’s all on the same wifi. Frustrating, because I’d like to pair HR with Zwift.

Any chance that you’ve mistakenly already paired the HRM in your device’s Bluetooth settings?

Hi @C_Neary

It hasn’t been mentioned yet, but have you seen the heart rate data consent popup since that was introduced a couple releases ago?

More info on that on this Support Page. In the Pairing Screen you may have to click on the All Devices tab in order to see your HRM. Once you select it, the consent pop up will appear.
