Can’t select Pace Partner on Apple TV if a follower is listed. Has only worked when no followers were listed. Very frustrating.
Can you expand on this? I use ATV and have not had any issues. Pace Partners are always listed at the top (but only when you have Watopia selected).
Works fine for me. Never had an issue.
As mentioned, you have to have Watopia selected at the top to see the Pace Partners as an option.
Having the same issue here, with Apple TV and zwift running the latest updates.
That looks normal. Now select that section (i.e., Join Your Friend) and then select Pace Partners which will show you a list of the Pace Partners.

After selecting watopia, navigating to the pace partner section, the remote wouldn’t select it and give me the choice between the 4 bots.

It looks like this problem is back again, it used to work flawlessly, now it is a hit or miss exercise to select a pace partner in Watopia. Help please!!!

What works for me is to select the whole pace partner area twice. When you 1st cursor to the area the whole thing highlights than press select. Even though you can’t tell the pace partners should now be highlighted. Press select again without moving the cursor.

FYI, I just tested this today on an AppleTV4K (the 2017 unit, not the latest with the new remote), ensuring I was on the latest version of the app.
I was able to select a pace partner and ride with them.
Oddities: I didn’t see any other riders listed in the list below the Pace Partner line. I normally do when trying this on an iPad.
Newest Apple TV, all the updates, all the electricity, all the things. And the interface is terrible. Unable to smoothly scroll within the selection window to select bot. Effectively useless on Apple TV.
To scroll, put your thumb at the top of the touch pad, wait a sec, and then gently slide it to the bottom. This works for up as well. Don’t flick or quick swipe like you normally do to move around or change selections.
I quite agree. Selecting a cycling pace partner is nearly impossible. The last time it took me about 10 minutes to select one. The order of them kept changing. I didn’t have this problem selecting a running pace partner this morning.
