One of the online print services will charge $16 for the Wahoo mount one, plus $5 for printer setup, and another $5 for shipping.
I think I’ll pass.

Not gonna work with plastic. Would have to be something stronger.

You are probably right with 3D printed plastic. i thought the current one was plastic but maybe it is metal will need to check

I submitted this to my local library and they gave me an estimate of $2.34 for both the garmin mount and handlebar options…so a good option just to try out!

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. We’d love to hear how the two options work out for you. Would you loop back and show us what your mounts looks like?

I’m trying to understand the use case of this product. I guess it’s for those who are swapping bikes back and forth on their trainer and only have 1 set of Clicks? Otherwise, what’s the necessity of having ability to “quickly release your Click controllers” ? I can’t imagine riding outside IRL with these holders still on the bike. The garmin one at first looked to make sense, but any continual steering and shifting from that out-front and center location would be problematic.

I was intrigued by them since mounting them with the straps to the inside of the hoods in the vertical position, I was confused by which button was what. At least with them horizontal, you can quickly determine which button does what.
I normally have a towel draped across the stem and flat part of my handlebars, so mounting them on the bars themselves would not be a solution.
The out-front Garmin/Wahoo would make the most sense for me.

I have the 31.8mm clamps on one of my road bikes. The mounts are easier to deal with than the straps every time I take it outside / put it back on the trainer.

While I hear you about leaving the holders on the bike, I also have an out front mount for my computer and a light mounted below it. A little bar clutter is no big deal to me, but YMMV.

I could also just use the Wahoo quarter-turn one and none of this would be a problem, but I was given a prototype of the 31.8 style at ZHQ. I know - waaa waaa waa, <\tinyviolins>.

printed this version as well since the reach was a little long on the out front mount but love the idea of quick removal of the quarter turn version

I wasn’t able to print in yellow, so i had them print in green, to match my hoods.. thoughts?

Yes please.

I was already using my Garmin mount for my old phone, which I use with Zwift. With the new bar mounts released, I wanted to add the Zwift clickers in the same spot. Using the STEP files, I designed a single mount that holds both. Now the phone sits nicely between my hands, and I can easily shift gears. Very happy with this setup!

Is it OK to share the STL files (here or on other forums)?

If you have your STL files available on a maker repository, I’d suggest you link to it.

Here’s mine, just got it from my brother who has got a 3D printer, fantastic quality of life improvement because I had trouble finding a place for the click without compromising one of the hand positions on the handlebar
