Hey all,
I just received my Zwift Ride: handlebars with Zwift Play controllers attached on it.
Since my Zwift Ride frame is damaged and I need to wait for replacement, I was wondering if I could temporarily salvage the Zwift Play controllers from the Zwift Handlebars to put on my personal bike and start Zwifting. Anyone ever done this?
Kind regards
I haven’t done it but @GPLama has a relevant video
Thanks. I just noticed the Play Controllers coming with Zwift Ride Handlebars are different from the ones you can buy separately. Unfortunately I can’t remove my only outdoor bike’s tape and shifting hubs just as a temporary measure. Such a shame I have a smart trainer with zwift cog, a bike and smart controllers but can’t use them … Oh well, guess I’ll wait for the Zwift Ride frame. Thanks anyway, though!

You’d know better than I, but would it be possible for Oliver to start Zwifting by doing workouts (ERG mode) using his outdoor bike and trainer while he waits for replacement parts? He would need controllers to shift gears…
Sure that would work, but personally I would install a normal cassette on it if it’s compatible with a Shimano HG freehub. That would allow all types of activities.
