Zwift Ride and "click"

Maybe a dumb question to you all:
I am considering the Zwift Ride. It has this one speed cog. I was wondering
if I will also have to buy the “click” for the full functionality?

No, the zwift ride has controls on it - more fancy pants than click with steering and braking and buttons to control the UI - and the gear change is left and right (so, e.g you could simulate changing a front cog and rear, rather than just having a linear up and down like the click)

Thanks a lot Michael. You are saving me €80,-

Hi @Edi_Winter welcome to Zwift forums!

A Click controller is not needed, as @M_Fi explained well, as the built-in controllers on the drop bars will take care of your shifting needs.

The exception is if you are adding aero bar extensions. In that case adding one Click shift controller at the ends of those aero extensions is a convenient way to make shifts without having to move your hands.

Thanks Shuji. Nice to know that. Might just get a Click to put somewhere else on the bike.
