Yesterday and today I did a workout on routes in New York. I got XP for completing my workout block but no xp for each mile completed. After my workout was completed, I rode a little further to see if I got xp for completing that mile and I did. It’s just during the workout that I didn’t get xp for completing each mile.
That’s pretty standard.
The XP awarded during a workout replaces the distance XP.
Has it always been that way?

U get double xp for your workout as well.

You’d have to join one of the Zwift Unlocked events and then enter a workout.
I haven’t seen anyone doing a workout during the Zwift Unlocked events.
In fact, the Workout option is disabled when joining a Zwift Unlocked event, so you can’t get double XP.
True, only on those Unlocked Events of course. WO are only available, if u do the routes as a freeride.
I have done workouts on a Zwift unlocked event free ride not a group ride
I have done workouts on the Zwit Unlocked routes used for the events, but not the group ride events. Zwift Unlocked free rides do not get double XP from what I’ve seen. Only the group ride events get the double XP.
They do - if you start the free ride by selecting the Zwift Unlocked tile in the Challenges row on the Home Screen. But there are no double XP for workouts.
I’ve been doing every workout on an Unlocked route and have been getting double do all along. Haven’t even had to start it from the Unlocked tab, just the normal select a workout and then choose a route.

I didn’t do workouts, only group rides and on-demand.
. I’m getting 40ish xp for a 2min endurance block, that’s double what you normally get.
