Terrible route that Yumezi one. Way too much tarmac for it to be a gravel route and too much gravel so the road bikies will hate it also.
This was a one for the badge and never again. Not even on races.

Maybe it is intended to be that way so people can enjoy the thrill of doing bike changes. 
I used to do this in the older days with Road to Sky when the gravel section was very slow - use the MTB to get that boring part out of the way then switch bikes for the bit that matters.

I also do that. Doing the Mayan San Remo route a lot lately to get back in shape and start the jungle on my gravel/mtb and than at the Mayan switc to a road bike.
Sadly it isnt much use anymore in races since they changed the CDA to roadbikes on gravel a year or two ago. I so wish they would change that back.

There was no UTurn possibility after the new Gravel Race so could not try and do the Reverse also.
I think even if you could U-Turn, it would not give you the badge. You’d have to select that route and start a new ride in order to get the badge.
The other badge is for Red Rock Loop Arcade, no? 240/241, still missing that one and Hot Laps.
