MacBook Pro 2020 Intel – stages bike and assiomas paired by ANT+
• Occasionally Zwift freezes – screen is frozen for about 30 seconds.
• On companion app I am still moving as I am still pedalling and I can still chat with people.
• Then my Mac completely shuts down and I have to log back in – all the while Zwift is still working as I am moving on Companion and my mates can still see me and I am chatting with them!
• When I restart the MacBook I can see in the Activity Monitor that Zwift is still running
• However if I click on the Zwift app to load it up it will load up but it won’t offer me ANT+ as an option – it’s greyed out with an exclamation point and I assume that is because I am opening up a second version of the app and the app is already running and connected to ANT as I am still riding according to Companion.
• I cannot work out how to get the original Zwift back up (the one that my Companion App thinks I am still riding in)
• So I end the ride using companion and it saves like normal. I reboot the Mac again and start a clean and fresh Zwift which does allow me to connect via ANT+
Anyone else had this? It’s happened for about a year every few weeks.
Would be great to be able to get back to the original zwift activity given my Mac thinks its still happening as does my Companion app!
