Hi. When I pair my Edge 500 or Edge 520 to my Elite Direto XR, I get crazy speeds/distance i.e avg speed 120kph with very little effort. Does anyone know why or how to get accurate readings?
I resolved it myself with a bit of research 
Maybe it’ll help someone else. You have to enter manually on the Garmin a new wheel circumference (as the flywheel on a turbo is so much smaller than a road wheel). For the Direto, you divide the normal road wheel circumference by 12.1, (which is 2096 mm /12.1 = 173). Elite have a table for their range of turbos. I presume other manufacturers have as well.
