Update. Finally today, after working with three different support techs over the past three days, I got a tech that knew what he was doing and was responsive. I should be getting credited with the gloves.
They said to me yesterday that they’ll put in a request to have the gloves added to my account, but that it may take up to a month to show up…
A month! 
Took about a day for me, although they weren’t marked as “new” in the garage.
I have been doing the training plan for a month plus now. I did the 28 workouts in about 5 weeks with only a few days off or free rides in between. I am now partway through week 2 on 2nd time around. I did not join anything, is there something more I can do? Also, wondering if there is a more optimum way to follow the training plan than just doing it almost every day.
