I used a Kinetic trainer w/ their Control Power Unit on Zwift, connecting via wifi and the Zwift Companion app on Android.
If I enter a race right after booting Zwift, or one that takes place in a different world from where I was “free riding”, the trainer resistance stays constant regardless of hills. Restarting the trainer (unplugging and replugging) before race start doesn’t fix this, but sometimes restarting it during the race (after start) does. When I enter a “free ride” the variable resistance works off the bat.
Anyone else experience this, and/or know who to contact to get this resolved? Both Zwift and the trainer’s firmware are up to date.
