Hey all,
Since the 10th anniversary Zwift update my V1 Kickr Bike no longer adjusts resistance based on terrain. The rise/fall no longer responds either.
The bike is reading cadence and power, though, so I’m still able to use Zwift - it’s just not the same experience.
The Wahoo app offers very little, bar showing the latest firmware - there’s no update I can see.
Anyone else have such an issue following the update and is there a sensible fix?
Thanks,
No issues here; maybe reset your devices file if you’re on PC?
or ensure that controllable device is connected?
Hi @Mike_Lowe welcome to Zwift forums.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Silly question maybe - but you have only the KICKR Bike v1? Or do you have both a KICKR Move and a KICKR Bike?
The power, cadence, and steering signals are paired as “KICKR BIKE 0684.”
After you updated to version 1.73.2, the resistance signal is pairing to a a signal advertising itself as “KICKR MOVE.” This appears to be completely different trainer, and would explain why your resistance isn’t changing.
Please confirm that that you (or perhaps a neighbor in Bluetooth broadcast range?) don’t own a Move as well.
