KICKR Bike v2 Pairing Controls fail

My kickrbike v2 have problems connecting to Zwift. It’s just the controls that can’t connect!

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I looked at your server log history and noticed you’re pairing your KICKR Bike v2 using Wahoo Direct Connect. This is a very reliable way of pairing to Zwift until it suddenly gets flaky. When this happens it’s almost always a local network issue that can be solved by rebooting your router.

While you’re at it - power cycle your cable/fiber/DSL modem, the KICKR Bike, and your Zwifiting computer so all these things reconnect to your local network with a fresh IP address, etc. Would you try all that and let us know if that solves it (or not)?

For good measure, I double-checked that your KICKR Bike v2 is on current firmware. There was a known issue with their firmware through Feb 2024 where Direct Connect wasn’t working as expected for some users. For other Bike v2 users who google their way to this thread in the future - please check that your Bike firmware is on the latest version.
