Kickr Bike - Handle Bar Controls - Not Working

I have a new Wahoo KICKR Bike. I have had it for about 2 months. When I first got it, some of the buttons on the handle bars worked, some did not. Grade for instance, was one of the buttons that did work. Steering controls did not work. Now, none of the buttons work. Did Zwift make an update change to remove control of any of these buttons, thinking they’d be addressing it in a future app, Or…is there an update or a suggestion as to how I could get control of the buttons on my Kickr Bike.

Hey @Michael_Tappe, Nate from ZHQ here. If you haven’t tried this already, can you try something on the pairing screen. In addition to connecting your KICKR Bike to Power, Resistance, and Cadence, can you also click on the Controls tile and try pairing the KICKR as a controller as well? With the 2.2.22 firmware update for the KICKR Bike v2, the way that the buttons interface with Zwift changed a little bit and it now requires you to specific select a control input.

Also worth noting that you have to be connected via bluetooth for the buttons to work (tilt however is its own thing, that’s done via hardware, not software connection)

Well, in the end, I deleted my Wahoo account and reinstalled my Kickr Bike and made sure it was on the 2.2.22 firmware. I deleted my Zwift app and reinstalled it. My steering is back. But my ERG mode is not working. It shows that it is going into the ERG mode by the message but doesn’t actually engage. At first I though maybe I had to turn on the 3 second smoothing in the settings for watt, because The Watts oscillate up and down like I am not in the ERG mode. It seems to think I am, because if i slow way down, it gives the message, going out of ERG mode. I have used the buttons on the Zwift app on my lap and the Zwift Companion in an attempt to get my ERG mode to work, but to no avail. Of note: I used a Compu Trainer for 20 years and then my new Kickr Bike is about 6 months old and have had a rear wheel Wahoo before between the Compu Trainer and the Kickr Bike, so I am not a newbie at this. Any thoughts on what to try would be appreciated
