Anyone else out there have a Justo2? I can’t seem to get mine to work over WiFi connection. I’ve enabled WiFi in the Elite app, and Zwift finds the direct connection. But, it doesn’t receive any data.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Congrats on the new trainer! First thing I’d do is to simplify your troubleshooting thought process.
I scrolled through a few weeks of your server log history and see you’ve got Zwift Play controllers and an ANT+ dongle in your environment. If you remove the ANT dongle from your Mac and force everything to use Bluetooth, that would be a good first step to reduce complexity.
The Justo2 is a very new model from Elite, so I personally don’t know how their Direct Connect implemention works vs Wahoo’s. I trust you’ve contacted Elite’s support folks?
If it’s like Wahoo - issues with Direct Connect are usually related to the local network. Sometimes, rebooting the router fixes a ton of problems Other times, your trainer and computer not on the same WiFi SSID, or one is on the 2.4 Ghz channel and the other on 5Ghz. Other times, a firewall or VPN is isolating your computer from the trainer. Please check those things.
Have you had any luck in solving your issue? If not you could try to disable Race Mode (10Hz) in the Elite app and see if that solves the problem. I have an Elite Avanti and could not get it to work on my WiFi until I turned off Race Mode. I can still use Race Mode when using bluetooth though, just not with WiFi.
Still no luck. I’ve turned off Race Mode. My Companion App also won’t connect over WiFi, so it appears it’s a Zwift or Mac issue.
If you are running macOS 15 (Sequoia) then you should check out this suggestion
I don’t know if that will help with the trainer but it should address the problem with Companion. If it doesn’t, reinstall Zwift and you should get a prompt to enable local network access.
Yeah, I’ve done this multiple times to no effect.
I think there was a firmware update for the Justo and Justo 2 yesterday, v20, maybe it fixed the WiFi and 10Hz?
