I’m a newbie and having loads of trouble getting the Just Ride option to work. I’ve selected a World eg Richmond UCI and selected a route eg Reverse Circuit… 9 times of of 10, all I get is a preview box to the right of screen. Once I got what I can only assume is the correct functionality which showed me a “Start Ride” button. When I clicked on it, moments later Zwift crashed.
I have given up on my ride tonight in anger and frustration… Can someone suggest why this might be happening or what I might be doing wrong?

I’m running the app/program via a laptop. Connection to wifi is ok and if I navigate via a workout or my custom program from Today’s Plan, I easily get to the “Start Workout” button.
I’ve since tried going into the program via the mobile app on my iPhone and was prompted to update the app. I’m not sure if doing this has impacted my use via the laptop but seems the Start Button function shows up using either my mobile or the laptop. This is good news even if I had to journey through the depths of frustration to discover it two hours later!
Shouldn’t the system provide the same prompt to update when logging in via laptop?
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I peeked at your server logs and see you’re logged in to the game app from an iPhone and a Windows computer at the same time. Concurrent logins will create all kinds of weird symptoms like yours.
If you use your PC as the main device to Zwift - I’d recommend you uninstall the game app from your phone.
Use your smartphone to run the Zwift Companion app in its place. Lots of useful functionality there that’s not built in to the main game app.
Would you try that and see if the Just Ride button shows up as expected?
