Indoor Outdoor Challenge [July 2026]

Okay thanks

Yep, fair point.

I don’t ride outdoor because I have chronic breathing issues, significant sight and hearing loss. Does that mean I shouldn’t be allowed to take part?

I love outdoor riding and will gladly do a lot of it whenever possible - but that is quite unreasonable. Some people may live in locations where it isn’t possible or safe to ride outdoors.

I just logged into my Zwift account from the app on my phone today (7/2). I did not log into any version of Zwift since the challenge was announced, so this is the first time I could see it to get registered. It was already showing/counting my outdoor ride that I did yesterday even though I had not logged in to Zwift to be registered. Maybe try that and then just make sure to full close the app on the phone once you are done to avoid the duplicate device concerns.

Same for me.

I completely understand that some riders can’t safely ride outdoors, and I wouldn’t want to exclude them. My point is that the challenge branding doesn’t really match the implementation. If it can be completed 100% on Zwift, then it’s effectively an indoor challenge with outdoor support, rather than an indoor/outdoor challenge.

But it can be completed completely outdoor too. With your words, its an outdoor challenge with indoor support?

If you like between us we can call it Indoor and/or Outdoor Chalenge

IAOOC for short?

Indoor Wed. and outdoor Thur. showed up in the count. Outdoor done using coros dura gps with wahoo phone app.

In the companion app there’s no mention of the bonuses when you click on the challenge tile, it just shows how far along you are to the final goal. It would be nice if the companion app showed the bonuses available, otherwise there’s no understanding of the value of hitting the 1000km (or 250km, 500km, 750km goals). This is the same in the other companion app challenge landing pages. Could just be text below that says what you wrote here.

Paris will open at 8 am Pacific too then with new routes?

I need a duffle bag to hold all of my caps. They won’t fit in my closet, way too many.

I only wear maybe three or four, red beret, pink headphones, occasionally aero helmet, and cowboy hat to be funny.

Between 8 and 9

This thing appears to be broken. When reaching 250kms it pops up on screen you got 100,000k drops but you are not getting credited 100k drops. I went from 34,051,745 to 34,104,991. Seen other people have their drops go backwards when it was awarded

Is this a second code for a second purchase with 20% off, or a 40% off discount?

Is there a reason, because this challenge is 1000km only for 3 months? Have u considered increasing the challenge like a double challenge u did with the factory challenge?

Just checked in on it to see where I was and realized I’ll have completed the challenge sometime tomorrow evening.

I wish Zwift would make these challenges big enough for everyone.
It’s fun they did this, no complaints there, 1000km isn’t very much for lots of people though (clearly).

I don’t care if 100,000km completed in 3 months would gift 1 whole :droplet:
But it’s mildly less fun to watch a bar already fill out in just over 10 days.

Anyways, I hope more outdoor related challenges come; even if I’ve only managed to do 10mi outside since this started (July evening thunderstorms here!).

But it doesn’t feel very inclusive when it’s this small; for such a large portion of the year that is.

Better yet, be more forceful with challenges next time.
Make me put my running shoes on and run outside.

Not everyone wants to go for a run or a walk here, but encouragement with a “challenge” that forces you to actually do something, would’ve done the trick for some of us.
