How warm/hot is normal for zwift hub

Hi there,

I have been using zwift hub for a couple of months now, but yesterday’s was a 1 hour ride with an almost consistent slope of 12%.

By the end of the ride I could smell something like burnt plastic, and the hub was hotter than usual.

I’m curious to know how hot can be considered normal and what can be an indication of a defect.

Aiming a fan at the trainer can help but since it’s still under warranty you may as well contact support to see if they think it’s a candidate for replacement. Many trainers struggle with overheating during long periods of high resistance.
