How to unlock Paired Achievement Zwift Companion

Day 7 Zwifter here so am still figuring some things

WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO
-I would like to unlock the paired achievement which requires me to “pair your phone through Zwift Companion”

WHAT I HAVE DONE
I run a wahoo trainer with Zwift and Zwift Companion on my phone - which is projected onto my samsung tv.

I’ve opened both the Zwift App and the Zwift Companion app on my phone and rode on. However the “Paired” achievement remains locked and i am wondering how i can unlock this?

Seek the community’s kind advise about what i am not doing right here.

Zwift and the Zwift Companion App have to be open and running at the same time, and therefore must be running on different devices. For example, Zwift on a PC, and Zwift Companion on a mobile phone. Is this what you’re doing?

For anyone like me stumbling onto this thread trying to figure out how to unlock this achievement, not only do you need to use two devices… but you also have to start a ride. Kept missing that crucial last step on my end.
