I am a bit confused and hoping someone can help me understand the metrics better. To my eye, it looks like I’ve done more than 50k of climbing but the progress bar at the tops shows a lot more to do. Should the Tron have unlocked or do I have to hit 100% now that I’m beyond the Everest Challenge. Probably a dumb question, so please don’t emphasize that point
At 29028 ft, you unlock a Trek Emonda.
That’s when the challenge changed to unlock the TRON bike.
As you see now, the TRON will be unlocked at 164042 ft.
It’s something that has confused hundreds of Zwifters. Don’t feel bad.
This is Haziel from Zwift. I want to thank you for bringing up your question about how to unlock the Zwift Concept Z1 in the game.
To start, you’ll need to sign up for the “Climb Mt. Everest” challenge within the game.
Every ride you complete will contribute to your overall elevation total. Once you reach the summit at 8,850 meters, make sure to keep the Everest challenge selected. From there, you’ll need to climb an additional 41,150 meters to earn the real prize.
That’s right: you must ascend a total of 50,000 meters to unlock the Tron bike. For most riders, this can take several months of dedication.
But is worth it in flat or rolling courses, the Tron bike is one of the fastest options available.
