Google Pixel 6 - Connection issues

I have same issues on my pixel6.
I tried both bluetooth and ant+ connection, but it could not work well.
My smart trainer is elite suito. Zwift app can’t find it.
I hope this issue solves as soon as possibly.

Pro-tip that may or may not help you here: make sure your new phone and Zwift app are ok the same WiFi network AND that said network isn’t configured to do AP isolation, where clients can’t see each other.

For bluetooth - you must switch location on, see above:

THE FIX IF YOUR ANDROID DEVICE CANT SEE ANYTHING IN ZWIFT:

On my phone I went to settings>apps&notifications>ZWIFT>Permissions then I had to manually grant the app permission to use my location. Once I did this the zwift app paired first try.

Thank you very much, Milan!
I have connected successfully with smart trainer and zwift app.
Good ride!

Milan and others, thanks so much for posting on this forum. I wanted to add my experience for my Pixel 3 (since this is the only Pixel thread I could find that fixed my issue). I manually enabled ALL permissions to Zwift in the same way and now all my sensors work. Just enabling the location was not enough for my Pixel 3.

Settings > Apps > Zwift > Permissions

I just got a pixel 6. I allowed location, but still can’t find my tacx trainer.

Even allowed permission to files, media, and camera… Nothing🤬

Just left my app searching for 20 minutes, and it found my tacx. Don’t give up

The Zwift app needs permission to use location on your phone/tablet but not only that, you must pick “only when the app is running” and not “always.”

This seems to resolve nearly all the issues
