Hi, my outside rides with a Garmin headset is showing in my rides but no XP or altitude is being added, is this correct?
I have tried re connecting the two accounts but still no joy!

If the rides recorded with a Garmin head unit are showing in Zwift, you should be receiving some XP (check the Companion app to see how many), but there is no altitude awarded for outside rides.
Do you have a subscription? I believe you get no XPs without it.

Are you seeing the mileage bar graph for your outside rides in the ‘Fitness Trends’ section of the Companion app? If so, are you not seeing a little ‘sun’ poking out the top? And, if so, does the sun not ‘rise’ and reveal the XP when you hold your finger on the bar for that day?

Also bear in mind that you only get 5xp per km for outdoor rides.
