Phased rollout to iOS / tvOS devices will begin tomorrow.

  • Android: We are rolling out graphical improvements for Zwifters using Android devices with more than 4 GB RAM. These improvements include improved textures and 3D models for items like avatar accessories (kits, helmets, socks), bike frames and wheels, and surrounding terrain.

  • macOS: The Ultra graphics profile is now enabled for devices with the following chips: Apple M4 (all versions), M3 Max, M3 Pro, M2 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Pro, M1 Ultra, M1 Max, M1 Pro.
  • macOS: The High graphics profile is now enabled for devices with the following chips: Apple M3, M2, M1.
  • Windows: Fixed an issue that could cause Video Screenshots to not be captured after updating to Windows 11 version 24H2.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause custom workouts imported from other training apps to not be removed after being deleted.
  • Fixed an issue that could allow Zwifters to steer off of the roadway on the City and the Sgurr route in Scotland.
  • Android: If insufficient storage space is available to install Zwift, the specific amount of needed storage is now shown to make it easier to know how much space to free up.

Nice. Are there any updates to the graphics profiles on iOS Devices, ie the latest iPad Pro (M4)? Thanks!

Not in the 1.83.0 update, but we’re looking at those devices as well – no specifics to share just yet though.

Hi Evan, I’m still see 1.82

Hi @Roy, the update is rolling out gradually over the next few days – it should be available for all Zwifters by Friday this week.

Any timeframe when the rest of the hud gets an update ? Last July we were told that the other info panels would get an update also, but it has been quiet since …

Hi,

So not sure what to think, I launched my session at 4:32PM GMT+1 and it crashed just after radio tower climb (black screen stuck for 5min), I had to restart my computer, then the game prompted me to install the update, so not sure what to think about this. Obv, it could be a internet loss connection on my end, altough my router uptime, didn’t reset and I haven’t notice any disconnections. but maybe, could you guys roll out the updates another time in the day ? I feel like rolling out update between 4PM to 9PM is not a good idea.

BTW, this is my first game crash since I use zwift (2000km today) :slightly_frowning_face: I could recover and upload to strava but missing my radio tower climb segment, it stopped in the middle, altough, I had the PR saved within the game ghosts (I redid the climb after the crash, no PR this time tho :slightly_frowning_face: )

Network connectivity problems usually don’t result in a game crash. If you share details about the computer I might have suggestions for things you can try to prevent crashes.

Perfect, thanks Evan :+1:

The first two things I would do to improve stability and performance on that system:

  1. Go into Zwift settings and disable the Video Screenshots setting
  2. Install the latest video driver from Intel https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/776137/intel-7th-10th-gen-processor-graphics-windows.html

Thank you, will try that, I also noticed on my next activity that it uploaded a video screenshot, thought I had disabled that before, strange that it re-activated. I also emailed support@zwift.com with the logs, maybe they can advise something else.

Just curious, what’s the limiting factor for high vs ultra? Surprised for example that M1 Pro gets it but not M3.

The High profile was already enabled for those CPUs. Did anything change for them or is this same as usual?

All that graphics profile updates for Mac but still no AppleTV bump…the disappointment continues :pensive:

Guess we’ll be waiting awhile then? Since been years asking for an update to the Apple TV 4K profile and all you get “its being looked at”…

That was going to be my question as well.
I use a MacMini M2, and it has shows as having the High profile according to Zwiftalizer.

When are we getting the Halo bikes and bike upgrades?
