Hello Zwifers!
Game version 1.78 starts phased rollout to Windows / macOS / Android today. Phased rollout to iOS and tvOS devices begins tomorrow. Here’s what you can look forward to:
All Platforms
- Zwifters riding in Watopia will now see a brand new route overview below the mini map, showing the route’s elevation changes, sprints, and KOMs.This feature will be rolling out to additional Zwift worlds over time. If you deviate from a route at an intersection, the original route overview will be shown instead.
- In worlds without the new route overview, the original route overview will now always be oriented from left-to-right regardless of your direction of travel.
- Recently added routes are now shown with a “new” tag in the Route screen.
- Workouts will now seamlessly sync from CoachCat and JOIN.cc.
- CoachCat (link here) is the industry’s most advanced AI-powered coach, which analyzes your data the moment you finish a ride and instantly provides coaching feedback. Use AI to optimize your training preparation, execution, and recovery.
- JOIN.cc is a highly adaptive AI-driven training platform designed to fit seamlessly into your busy life. With intuitive guidance, pro-level workouts, and a supportive community, you’ll have everything you need to reach your full potential.
- After selecting an activity within a Challenge (like Cardio Crusher or Route Chaser: The Grade), you can now see the activity’s details before starting.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Play controllers to not automatically reconnect when starting Zwift.
- Fixed an issue that could cause your Strava connection to be unlinked from your Zwift account if Strava’s servers were unavailable.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Pinarello Dogma F paint job icons in the Garage to be blurry.
- Fixed issues that could potentially occur with virtual shifting when using the Wattbike Atom.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the intersection selector to appear earlier than intended when descending the Radio Tower KOM.
- You’ve got mail! Zwifters who have opted-in to receive emails from us have received a very jolly new unlock - the Watopian Postal Service hat. To sign up for emails, visit The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App and you, too, can join the mail crew. PS - there’s something coming to your inbox in December that you’ll want to be opted in for.
Windows
- The Ultra graphics profile is now enabled for the following graphics cards: Radeon RX 7900 GRE, RX 7800 XT, RX 7700 XT, RX 7600 XT.
- The High graphics profile is now enabled for the following graphics card: Radeon RX 7600.
iOS, tvOS
- New Zwifters will see a refreshed welcome experience when starting Zwift for the first time.
Android
- New Zwifters will see a refreshed welcome experience when starting Zwift for the first time.
- Fixed an issue that could potentially cause Play, Ride, or Click controllers to not connect after completing one Zwift session and then starting a new session.
UPDATE: November 13
Phased rollout continues to Windows / macOS / Android machines.
Phased rollout has begun to iOS / tvOS devices.
Note: Due to a potential crash, we are temporarily turning off automatic sorting of Garage items for iOS, Android, and Apple TV. The feature is still enabled for Zwifters on Mac and PC. We will re-enable the feature as soon as possible.
- We are rolling out a preview to some customers with a refreshed in-game emotes experience which can be activated via the Action Bar.
- A Ride On trigered from the Action Bar sends a Ride On bomb. Previously, that was possible only by using Zwift Companion or Zwift Play controllers.
UPDATE November 14
Phased rollout is complete to all OS platforms.
