Thanks Paul!
With or without 10hz, now is a good time to race me Peter, I came last in a race at the weekend
The power numbers aren’t updating quick enough - once a second instead of 10x.
Thanks Mark, then maybe mine hasn’t worked in a long time because I set it back to 3sec reporting as it was not keeping a consistent number.
Hi. The height graphic that appears is very nice, so you can remove the minimap because it contains the same information.
Now you have updated the HUD, please on TVOS let us remove the rider list and the leaderboards Thanks, I really like the HUD changes… Having the TSS value as an option is sweet!
It’s a possible feature to have the HUD working in a workout as a avg power on the interval, on each interval if there’s more than one?
Thanks
There appears to be a bug in Zwift Run where if I’m running a hard interval and then I hop off the treadmill deck in order to take a full rest, my avatar is “stuck” at the last interval pace and will continue to run at that pace even if I’m no longer moving. Kind of reminds me of the old sticky watts bug. This made it difficult to run intervals on the May Field track since my avatar wasn’t stopping where I wanted him to.
How are you transmitting your speed to Zwift?
Stryd pod
Def sounds like a bug. Friend did something similar but he was using treadmill speed. So, when he jumped off, the avatar kept going because the treadmill was still going. BUT, he didn’t put that together in his brain😂
There seems to be a bug in the completed routes list on the Companion app.
It shows “Mayan mash” and “turf and surf “ as not completed in the routes list, while they show as green once added “my list”.
Strange!
Haha yeah, I forget that some people use connected treadmills which is why I forgot to mention I’m using a stryd.
This is definitely “new” behavior since I’ve been running on Zwift for a few years now and only noticed it recently after the latest update. To be fair the avatar has never stopped/started immediately, but usually after a few seconds the game would figure out I had stopped. Now it seems like the avatar will run forever at my sprint pace
With that said the cadence metric did update to show I had stopped, only the pace was stuck and kept the avatar moving.
why does the HUD look old when we are training? and we can’t remove the graphic at the bottom?
One thing that I have meant to bring up before but haven’t, I noticed that the send group text function offers about half of the character input that the Companion does. When I am riding on Zwift, I have to send twice the messages in quantity that I normally could if I were using Companion. I don’t like sending long messages in Companion because it is only a single line text input and I cannot preview the message entirely before I hit send. It is difficult to scroll back and make sure everything is correct first versus when I type using a full keyboard, I can see everything more clearly in the send group text function. If I use the speech to text keyboard capability with the Companion, it is not necessarily trustworthy that it will not change before I hit send.
Did something change in the powerup formula during free ride? I rode the Itza Climb Finish route today and got the XP power up 6 times out of 6 banners on the route.
I had the resistance control disabled (not selected) and only connected Power, Cadence, Zwift Play, HR to Zwift. The trainer was controlled (Erg mode) via TrainerRoad app running on my phone.
Just curious - are the XP power ups intended behaviour during free ride in Watopia with no resistance control or was that just a coincidence… .
Are you on a TT bike?
Yes, I was. I guess that is the reason?
This is a known bug; several other threads about it I think.
Yes, you dont get power ups with a TT bike equipped, just XP
