Phased rollout of game version 1.80 begins today to Windows / macOS / Android devices.
Phased rollout to iOS / tvOS begins tomorrow.
All Platforms
Zwifters riding in all Zwift worlds will now see the new route overview below the mini map, showing the route’s elevation changes, sprints, and climb segments (this was previously only available in Watopia). If you deviate from a route at an intersection, the original overview will be shown instead.
Route lead-ins are now highlighted in blue in the new route progress overview in the mini-map.
The screen shake effect can now be disabled in Zwift Settings under the Audio & Video tab. When disabled, the screen will no longer shake when riding on rough surfaces like cobblestones.
Fixed an issue that could cause the “Start Ride” button to not be selected by default when viewing a workout.
Fixed an issue that could potentially show incorrect elevation in the dynamic elevation display for the climb in Jarvis and The Grade in Watopia.
Fixed incorrect pedestrian walking animations in New York.
Fixed an issue that could cause the elapsed time icon to overlap with the time value.
Fixed an issue that could cause the “More Power!” alert to overlap with the average power value shown during ramp test workouts.
Fixed an issue that could cause the speed unit shown in the HUD to overlap with the distance value.
Fixed an issue that could cause the in-game leaderboard sidebar to overlap with the upcoming event countdown.
Fixed an issue that could prevent the Shorelines and Summits route in Watopia from being completed if scheduled for multiple laps in an event.
Corrected the peak difficulty of the Tractor Pulls workout which was previously higher than intended.
Training Stress Score (TSS) has been renamed to Stress Points (SP).
Android
Fixed missing bridge railings in the Shisa Shakedown route in Makuri Islands.
Fixed an issue that could cause the Zwifter’s level to not be shown in the HUD after receiving a Ride On.

I’m really hoping Zwift actually do some good updates soon. Not one to moan but subscriptions went up… significantly…and development seems to have completely dried up. We’ve had 5km of new roads this winter… Wow. If you jack up the subscription, you expect a bit more for it. Updates this winter season have been poor. I’ve got £180 to pay next month to renew and honestly, it’s getting harder to justify paying that.
There’s a problem with this, it only takes effect after you open the settings window, otherwise the effect will be enabled when you start riding, even if it’s disabled in settings.
yes and no, regular bug fix patches are good.
on the other hand I like new roads, Makuri and New York spring to mind as needing more tarmac.
Hopefully we can get something Q1 next year, say march/ april time latest.
Value is personal, I get it from late night & poor weather indoor riding, the subs price rise did get a lot of people rightly questioning their commitment to the platform.
Anything that makes the Leader boards less intrusive is welcomed.
That was a particularly irritating thing.
Still,it would be nice to just disable Leader boards.
how to make something that was annoying… really annoying I suppose at least there is an option to turn it off… even if you have to do this every time. Genuine question…was this even tested before release? I mean to test this, you.only have to turn it off, test it in game, reload Zwift and test it again. That’s it.
This really highlights how poorly updates get implemented.
Over the years’ I’ve tried other platforms but I always come back to Zwift, obviously, that’s down to personal preference. As to the cost, I suppose it depends how much you use it. I use it all year round, so to me, it’s worth it. Again, I tend to stay in Watopia so new roads don’t bother me and IRL, the roads I can easily ride don’t change, apart from more and more pot-holes!
I agree. I would like to turn off the rider list on the right as well.If we could choose what we wanted on the hud, it would awesome. Right now, I shut off the hud and just use my head unit for watts,hr, cadence, and w/kg. I really don’t care about who is riding around me or watch them complain about their first world “problems” or cries for attention. just like irl.
