Weâve improved the route preview shown below the mini-map when Zwifters ride off-route: The route preview now shows the next 3 km / 1.86 mi of roadway so you have a better idea of whatâs ahead of you, and if you turn at an intersection, the route preview will update accordingly. The name of the next intersection is also now displayed, along with the distance to it.
This looks nice. When freeriding after leaving a route the automatic turn choices seem generally random, will the preview show the direction that the auto-turn will choose? Also, I didnât even know intersections had names.
My experience is that they are random until they hit something which the game defines as a âloopâ, then it will pick up and follow that loop, whether you are going forward or reverse, until you turn off of it. Routes like Going Coastal will split at the jungle because they end before the jungle, but routes like Electric Break will keep looping the rooftops forever and ever and ever until you turn, because they end within that looping sequence. It would be nice to have some uniformity within group rides defined for post-break splits, at least until a âloopâ is found.
I think this is a great update for the route preview! And it also answered the question, âYes, the next build is .100â!
Yes, the profile will show whatâs coming up assuming you end up going through the pre-selected turn. When you select a different option, it also updates to show what will come so you can decide to go back if you donât like what you see. The names are the same names you see on the turn icons, I canât recall if all platforms show those names.
And also independent on whether you actually do a âraceâ or not for the floor.
I generally only race during Zwift Games and this year was no exception. My Racing Score stayed at 531 ever since, and then suddenly it was at 392 in September. After the five-minute Baseline activity which was done as a solo effort and averaged 4.82W/kg for me, it went back up to 490.
So, your score can decay, but you can also bring it back up and not actually have to do any actual ZRS races.
Just updated to Zwift 1.100 on MacOS 26.0.1 and my Kickr Bike will no longer connect via wifi. The pairing screen briefly flashes connected and then goes back to âconnectingâ on all sensors and controls. Searching and trying to reconnect does not help. Checking the local network setting in MacOS and Zwift has access to local devices. Iâve reset the bike and checked that it is connected to the network - i can ping it - and have restarted the computer as well, but no joy. No problems on earlier Zwift versions, and nothing has changed on my network that I am aware of, so it appears to be linked to the 1.100 update?
My wife has issues as well with her Kickr bike on this release. Connected via wifi the connections screens are flashing on and off. Bluetooth is ok.
I think its something to do with this part of the release
Fixed an issue that could cause WiFi-connected fitness devices to be visible in the Pairing screen after being powered off.
I think what ever change that is is causing issues now in the pairing screen where its constantly checking for the wifi device being connected causing it to flash on and off
If you watch our twitch vod from where it starts this shows the pairing screen flashing
Just to add to this. I tested a Kickr Shift and it also flashes when connected via WIFI but my Kickr V5 connected just as LAN that has no wifi does not flash. So definitely something up with the wifi checking causing this
You guys still need to put a drafting percentage bar in either Zwift or I would put it in the companion App because the uptake of the App is so low (15-20% of users tops ) an added feature to it would encourage people to use the App. I donât use any of the data top right of the App, I would rather swap that whole lot out for even an analogue style meter that goes from 0 to 100%. You guys already have the number, its used in the draft calculation just put it up on the screen please.
