I mentioned in a reply to you in the Game Update thread that it used to be that way.
You could pair some devices directly and other devices through the CA.
Zwift changed that several years ago and made it so that if you used the CA for any of your devices, all devices had to pair through CA.
I can’t find the thread that announced that, though.
