I don’t agree with that analogy because you don’t need to provide that £1,600 of your own kit to use the gym. Your money pays for the use of their equipment, with this you provide your own. I see Zwift as a game, a social platform and a digital service. Even Zwift describes itself as ‘the fitness company born from gaming’.
I get huge value out of Zwift and don’t begrudge paying the subscription whatsoever. I just think it gets a spectacularly easy ride from the majority of its customer base, seemingly for simply existing.
It was Everything Bagel. We had multiple meetups throughout the day from 07:00 sast until 19:00 sast. All had the same issue. Seems to all be apple users that went in the opposite direction.
We are hosting the same event tomorrow in watopia - three sisters. Almost 160 people attending, so a bit worried about the experience they will have. Any advice?
good noote, yesterday the 28th started to give error when saving the game, this update hindered me, and today again I was not able to save the game, what to do? if tomorrow problems again I will cancel paying almost 100.00 to be giving error after a hard ride is not worth it.
Hola buenas tardes.
Con la actualizacion de ayer, no me
Deja entrar a los eventos, ya intenté con varios eventos, por iniciar y los que empiezan con más tiempo.
To me it isn’t so much having Tokyo or not this year. I just want Zwift to be upfront and tell us, yes this summer or no wait till June 2021. How hard would that be.
Since this update the game crashed when i try and enter the pairing screen after starting a ride - not had that problem before and happened twice today
Added this to the start of this thread but putting it here as well so others can see it.
Please note that the Google Play Store is experiencing significant delays in approving applications. This delay is impacting the Zwift game release so it may not appear in the Google Play App Store for users until next week.
It sounds like the riders on the Apple platforms didn’t have the game update with the fix.
Recommend everyone check for the update before launching, on iOS and Apple TV they can manually download the update through the App store by navigating to the Zwift app page. Everyone should be on version 1.0.50775
There are so many comments I doubt anyone will see this but… My laptop is far enough from my trainer I can’t reach it while riding. This isn’t normally a problem, but I just did a workout and wanted to spin a little longer. Normally when that’s true I just keep pedaling and the workout summary screens go away and I can see the route again.
Post-update today I pedaled a while (not sure how long but I went half a mile) but the screen never changed back, and the mileage wasn’t updating in the workout summary either. I had to get off my bike to click OK to get it to switch. Maybe that was a function of the workout (Yellow Unicorn) but it’s not done that for the Orange or Red Unicorns, so I doubt it.
Your internet is not OK.
An update takes just 30 - 45 secs.
Updates should not be optional.
Think about it, anything that changes the game affects everyone.
Long downloads are frustrating but if it is taking 200 minutes to update, that’s not Zwift’s fault.
@donna yes, but you have to start an activity, you can’t do it from the initial menu. You also can’t see which route badges you’ve done, before selecting one to do now, which you then can’t abandon and change to another route without completely shutting down the application and restarting it - all of which is deeply annoying.
