This is kind of different subject but need help (from anyone who knows). Using Zwift Run Pod and have HRM otw. How do I track the elevation gain? Is it possible without a smart treadmill? If there is something just say the name and I’ll search it out! Thank you all either way!

NPE Runn can track incline, dont think you can with a run pod. maybe a smart treadmill but all are a little different.

Good morning everyone, thanks for all the reports about the drafting issue. The team is looking at this right now and we are prioritizing an update to address it. :ride_on:

@Wes have you heard of any problems where people can’t see the new bikes and workouts?

If you use Bluetooth connection (either with PC/Windows 10 or via Apple TV) then you will be able to see gear change on screen. It is not supported over ANT+ connections.

Hope that helps.

Isn’t this already available?
I hardly use my companion app and I connect to my Saris H3 and Wahoo HRM directly from my AppleTV.

In 9:35 est Crit city race this morning the right hand window showing zwifters near me was showing only me. Occasionally it would briefly add one or two - perhaps it’s showing only zwifters I’m following. Is that a bug or is there a toggle key for that window?

this is usually a case of a network drop, did all the riders disappear from the screen too or was it just the riders nearby list?

Cheers Jon

Interesting, when the event was over the riders nearby list was populated again. Looks like a bug!

Just the nearby riders list. And I forgot to mention, when the race finished and it put me back to free riding, all the nearby riders appeared in the list and it seemed to be working normally.

And a route planner

So I’ve updated to the latest version on my iPad, but it now crashes every time I click Let’s Go / Ride. Sometimes it works but crashes seconds after loading? This issue has only just started happening since the new update.

I managed to ride by connecting to my iPhone though. Any ideas?

Same issue here!

I had the same experience on a group ride today!

That is correct. But the OP wanted to be able to connect 3 devices directly to Zwift, without using Companion. I was just telling them that this is an ATV issue, not Zwift. So if they want three devices (and don’t have a trainer, or other device that can broadcast multiple measurements simultaneously) they will need to continue to use the Companion app for any devices beyond the ATV limitation of two.

Things for everyone to keep in mind.

  1. Zwift has people working from home. Planning new worlds and route expansions while nice, take time. Working from home is not going to expedite the process (makes it longer).

  2. Apple TV limitations are not a zwift problem. They are an apple problem. Your options are to use work arounds or find a trainer that does power, fec, and cadence so you can then pair hr (or look at like a 4iiii viiiiva esque device which can convert ant+ into one bluetooth stream and trick the apple tv).

  3. Feature request forums exist for a reason.

  4. There are so many pathways and options Zwift can take to improve the software. Some can be done relatively easily, others take time. Just because an update comes out with seemingly small things, does not mean they are not working on other projects in the background.

The OP wants a third data item (cadence) on top of power and HR, which is not possible with ATV unless you have a device that sends multiple items (like power and cadence) through a single BT connection.
