After the 1.39 update with that much bugs in it I would have thought that everybody would get the 1.40 update at the same time (AS SOON AS POSSIBLE). But in stead ZHQ decided that a phased rollout would be best.
In my opinion you are condemming us (that get the update a lot later) to be stuck with a version with lots of bugs for at least an extra few days.
The release is staggered in case thereās something BIG that goes wrong.
Iām sure you would be very grateful if you were someone who didnāt get affected by something like that because we staggered the update rather than ācondemnedā.
According to the first message of Shuji in this topic it has now been more than 3 days that the update is rolling out, but nothing yet. So 48 hours have well been passed.
I could, but riding a few group rides lately did not give me a good feeling (no ride leaders or way to high w/kg than adverticed). Races and work outs are not my thing and free riding I prefere outside in the sun.
This issue needs to be fixed period, and the only way of that happening is the new update. But because of the staggered release a lot of us do not have it yet and still can not start a RP ride without needing to start over several times. This is frustrating me and is killing the fun of Zwift for me big time.
@James_Zwift I also like to get an answer on another question.
The sprint and KOM leaderboards are often popping up in youāre screen right at the point where you start the sprint. This has been mentioned lots of times and also been requested to see them sooner.
Can you let us know if this has been adressed with this update or has nothing been done about it at all?
When I am doing sprints I would like to know a lot sooner what the sprint times are and not finding out after the sprint that the attempt was futile as some one has set an impossible time for me to beat. Before 1.39 I could at least swipe the leader boards on my screen but with 1.39 it is not possible.
I think the leaderboard positioning is route/world specific. I think they stay up for a really short time in Scotland. I can find out a bit more but itās not going to be a priority.
As far as I have seen it, it is not route / world specific. Most of the sprint leader boards I have come across the last few weeks (Wattopia, Makuri and London) popped up verry close or even at the start point of the sprint. That is not how it should be and with the HUD bug in 1.39 (do not know if it has been fixed with 1.40) there is no info about sprint times untill it is to late.
That would be possible, but that sounds even worse as some RP routes are really long and that can take for ever at a crusing speed before you come across the RP you want.
Yeah but you can see where abouts they are - worst case if they are at the other end of the route - U turn, ride towards and flip another U turn just before you meet halfway.
I had a great ride once riding round jumping from RP to RP as I stumbled across them.
As I said before it is possible, but not working for me because I want to join an RP right away and not first have to look where they are riding, etc. That is way to much work, especialy when you are not doing a long ride of do not have to much time to ride.
