A problematic consequence of not being able to turn off steering on a Kickr Bike… One of my steering buttons doesn’t reliably work. So I can’t turn off steering but I also can’t dependably move right. Going to make any group activity utterly frustrating…

There is an issue with the scroll bars when selecting a bike frame and wheels. The power chart is also no working. Hovering the mouse over the graph shows nothing.

I did both a race and a robo pacer group ride yesterday with a steering device and couldn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I’m not saying the issue does not exist, but it’s probably random and not straightforward to reproduce…
That’s the main reason why some of these bugs come out and are not caught by testing, specially the hardware related ones

This is my issue as well and why I use ant+ which disables steering.
I have found ANT+ unreliable for connection stability (presumably environmental as others have no issue) - and don’t currently have an ANT+ stick. But would be very frustrating to lose the benefits of Bluetooth to avoid steering when I don’t want to steer (noting that in the past I have used steering - so not wholly against it, but I’d prefer to choose when to use it).
Save Ride GUI is bugged as well on PC. While trying to edit the predefined name, the first few letters cant be seen anymore and also can’t be edited Either.
My last ride was predefined: “Zwift - Robopacer Ride with Coco in Watopia”. I edited this to be Grundlage G1 and it saved as “ZwGrundlage G1”. I had to manually edit it via Companion App afterwards.

Fair point - or it’s a combination of this playing together that are causing different results. To folllow on - I rode with coco last night 25 miles I only received one push out but it was too fast to get a video.

Multiple bugs:
- Impossible to switch off the steering (Wahoo Kickr Bike)
- Steering ON even if the ride settings say OFF
- Weird behavior when selecting the picture at the end of a ride (with a mouse)
- Impossible to analyze the end-ride graph with a mouse

As already mentioned above, there is a possible known workaround which is to pair the controllable interface via ANT+, in case your device (PC, Android, etc.) has ANT+ connectivity of course.
Regarding “Devices with steering (like Kickr Bike) can’t disable steering”
To me the real issue is that it’s not possible to pair the Kickr Bike’ steering on the new device screen.
The screen doesn’t show the Kickr Bike’ steering on the screen, so it’s not possible to pair it (or unpair it to disable it)
I would say that for regular users, having the ability to pair their $3k device successfully is more important than being able to unpair it because it may (or may not) have an effect on how their avatar behaves in a pack.
Super buggy experience doing the European Lunch Ride today, involving the graphics issues I mentioned previously, crashing after the start of Epic KOM, restarted and late joined successfully, at some point the riders nearby list temporarily showed zeros for all the gaps, on the descent (Epic KOM Reverse side) it showed the Epic KOM leaderboard, then it crashed again during the descent and I gave up. I may have to take the extreme step of riding outdoors.

Not a workaround, I don’t have Ant+ :(.
I just did a race, after finishing I clicked on my category letter to see where I stood in my group and zwift immediately crashed to desktop entirely. This might be the worst zwift release in history and that’s saying a lot. I have never had crashing issues before and now they’re very frequent.
Yesterday while warming up Zwift dropped all my connections and then crashed when I tried to reconnect. Reloaded Zwift, did it again.

Was it something like this crash? Looks like scrolling the rider list after a race caused a crash.

@Aoi_Niigaki i was in CS_TriX room on twitch , he did the same thing last night. Scrolling then crash.
You forgot the various “crash to desktop” issues
Are there instances where the pace partners have hair and feet? I haven’t seen any.
