Rider shadows with the Mac mini M1….please.

Yes, allow to clean up the garage or at least to select favorite bikes and wheels. I doubt anyone uses more than 3-4 of each regularly. While at that, you guys could allow selecting the gear BEFORE starting a ride…. thanks
With the new Home Screen you’ll be able to do that(select gear before riding)
I had the firewall issue on the previous update (the one where wahoo direct connect was first added) if that helps
I had this too, but it was a clean install of zwift on a recently reset PC so first time loading/logging into zwift.
I run zwift full screen and it minimised zwift when the prompt from the firewall came up, clicked ok and maximised zwift again and everything ran fine.
I am realy getting pissed on bike performance here on Zwift.
After fixing a bug you guys made the TOA one of the best (low level) bikes.
Than you changed allmost all bikes and after a lot of protest changed it back again.
And now you made the TOA rubbish again.
How in gods name can we trust you guys any longer on what bike to buy.
This has nothing to do with real life bike performace anymore.
A bike is fast and or light or it is not. make up you’re mind directly at the introduction of a new bike
PS: here are the numbers from Zwift Insider telling us Zwift has also messed with the aero side of the TOA.
" Chapter2 TOA Frame Nerfed
Zwift included this line in the list of bug fixes for this release: “Fixed an issue causing the Chapter2 TOA frame to show as 4 stars weight instead of 3 stars.”
Yup. Zwift has nerfed the Chapter2 TOA, which had become the Tron-beating best all-arounder in game. Its Alpe du Zwift test climb time has gone from 48:54 to 49:03, and its flat test time has gone from 51:19.5 to 51:28. Ouch!
The test results slowing by approximately the same amounts (9 seconds slower on both) indicates that Zwift didn’t just add weight to the TOA – they also made it less aero."
What’s the plan for the other frames with bugs? The Trek Speed Concept SLR 9 seems to be too heavy and two frames were left with different performance following all of the groupset changes - the Felt FR ended up slower and the Tarmac SL7 ended up heavier. Will these be changing in a future update?
Hi 1.2.4 had been installed. I did notice when I started reinstalling again that it was using installer 1.1.2 where it had used 1.1.1 before.
Not sure if that had anything to do with it. It’s just rubbish how I’ve not had a successful update without manual fiddling for months. Having to do 4Gb downloads …. It’s not good enough
Yes, I think the progress bar is / was wrong when I did this route about 13 hours ago. I ran around 9.6 km and the badge was never awarded. The screenshot shows the bar being full with no distance remaining to complete the route, but I didn’t get any completion message.
Tried the update on my PC, but it does not work. It seems it is trying to update, but than nothing. Tried it over 10 times allready.
On my Andriod device it went also not smooth. I had updated the app (via the app store as the update did not show up when starting the app). After installing the update when I started the app and it showed me I needed to update again
I’ve updated two PC and two android phones all went as expected.
Are all your windows updates up to date? Was everything running smoothly prior to trying to update?
All was working well before updating.
It is working now after a complete new installation of Zwift (followed by installing the update). No clue why I needed to update as I used the new version for installation .
So you are saying that the TAO launched with a bug. Subsequently, people delayed the purchase of the frame because of the bug. Waiting to buy a frame for at least an update or two is common with Zwifter. After several months, Zwift fixed this frame, and to the communities joy, the bike performed exceptionally – compelling many to buy this now corrected frame. However, unknown to us riders, this wasn’t the actual planned performance of a frame that had been in the game for months and through several iterations. Do you recommend we wait for longer than 2-3 updates to purchase a newly introduced frame if we are concerned about using drops on a frame that isn’t what we are expecting?
Could you at least give us the option of donating equipment to World Bicycle Relief?
It’s expected that people will be disappointed by Zwift changing the characteristics of their equipment after they purchased it. It makes sense to try to reduce disappointment with the product. Another approach would be to make frame and wheel characteristics immutable, and make corrections by versioning the drop shop products, issue a TOA v2 frame, remove v1 from the drop shop, and let riders keep what they bought. What’s the harm in considering a purchase to be a contract to get a specific thing?
Is it possible, and maybe this is in the works already when there are races that are mixed category it would be great to see where you are in relation to your category on the leaderboard plus where you stand overall. Does anyone know if this is something that is being worked on? Or is that a setting that I am just clueless about?
I’ve had the firewall warning too. Had to force close the launcher after it but then all good
First Zwift - thank you for all that you do. Regarding the TOA - while Zwift might not have hyped it - many of us are active racers or data junkies - and bought the TOA specifically because of it’s 4 stars - whether or not Zwift itself hyped it up - it was definitely highlighted in several articles.
Regardless, given this isn’t the first occurrence of adjusting bike stars, performance, etc - it won’t be the last. I echo the request for some sort of sellback option. I think this is ultimately necessary from a business/revenue standpoint. With more competition coming on the market, you’ve got to keep your current subscribers happy. I’m not sure if you have data on how people decide to join Zwift but in my experience, having been on Zwift since 2016 - I share a lot about what is different between Zwift and say Peleton as well as TrainerRoad, etc. Please don’t let the “annoying features” grow to a list where current subscribers start shopping around.
Thank you for your consideration.
@shooj Yeah Windows Firewall warning on my main rig too.
The new routes are showing up for me as a Meetup choice now. I’m guessing it was the ZC 3.34.1 update.
