I’m sure that ERG mode will not work if you pair using companion app rather than pairing trainer directly to ATV. I also always restart ATV prior to starting any Zwift ride for me ATV has been 99% reliable :+1:.

thanks for that - upgraded to iOS 15.3 - seemed ok on last nights ride, although not a workout. still need to try one of those. I also turned my apple tv off and on again.

Gradient graph in London is mostly good but the arrow showing where you are still doesn’t follow the hill:

very minor issue and very pleased the other bit is fixxed.

One other minor thing is it still counts climb in multiples of 6 or 7 feet whereas aother worlds count them one at a time.

For whatever reason, it seems that Zwift works far more smoothly on Apple TV – and iOS, iPadOS – if you always completely close the Zwift app (‘force close’ or ‘hard close’) between sessions. Let us know how it goes with a workout.

Trying to install the latest update. Yet again I’m getting the dreaded Z117 Line 601 or Z117 Line 602 patcher error.

I thought the update released in January solved this issue? Every update in the last 3 weeks has given me this error. Come on Zwift, employ someone to tidy up your coding as its a mess!!!

Oh brilliant, so I spent 4 hours last night unsuccessfully trying to update, and again another 90 minutes faffing about trying all the workarounds to finally get it to update and run with no issues.

Lo and behold I come home from work, go to load it up so I can ride my meet up to fin I am back at square one as there’s yet another update released which won’t install properly.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REMIND ME WHY I PAY £12.99 A MONTH FOR THIS CONTINUAL UPDATE ISSUE WHIXH WAS RESOLVED FOR ONE WEEK BEOFRE YOU SCREWED IT UP AGAIN.

Hi! I’m using Zwift on Macbook Pro 15’ 2017 with Monterrey 12.2.1
After last update I had problems on device selector and menus. On login page, and when I can select to show other riders Zwift works correctly and fine like always.
But in menus and devices selector page MAC freeze and not working. When I click on search device after 1-2min game show me popup selector…
It’s imposible to configure and ride…

I tried to reinstall application and nothing works

My Apple TV automatically updated to the 22.4 release today, then the fun started. My kickr v5 was showing as no signal, turned everything off and on again, researching for the trainer it eventually found and re paired with Zwift

Doing a workout I can only assume it was losing connection briefly as the resistance fell to zero and the power graph did the same before returning… had no warnings or disconnection messages on screen.

Instead of introducing new bugs… can you pleeeeeeese test updates properly before rushing to release

Literally never had this problem once, and I must have installed Zwift over 150 times across the various PCs I’ve put together for people, and that’s not counting all the game updates. I’m in the UK and have had Sky Broadband ADSL2+ and now Zen FTTC, exactly the same.

Either something’s up with the config of your PC, or something’s up with your network. Perhaps both.

Zwift need to do much better at diagnosing why this happens for some people, but the fact it’s not happening to everyone suggests the problem probably isn’t at their end.

Missing XP?
So just did a 21km warm up ride, then a 46km group ride, XP only went up by 920, so missing the XP for the 21km ride, the KMs did go up by 67 in this case.
During Tour De Zwift I a warmup ride, a TdZ ride then straight to a group ride and only got XP & Kms for the final ride, the rest had been discarded.

What are you running the Companion app on? For example, in iOS (iPhone), you have to give the app permission to your Photos.

Settings > Privacy > Photos > Companion

One thing I noticed that’s new in the latest update. The auto-title creation for workouts has changed. This is what is shown on the activity, as well as what is uploaded to Strava.

So earlier the title was created as “Workout Plan - Workout”, now it is “‘Workout’ in ‘City’”.

As an example for my last two workouts, before the update it was:
“Build Me Up - Spaded Sweetie”

Now for my latest BMU workout it shows:
“Kirizuma in Watopia”

It’s a small thing of course, but I actually preferred the first one. Not sure if others prefer it the other way or not.

Hi Lin,

I’m using Samsung Galaxy S9 (android). The photos used to upload perfectly for a long time but the ‘black photo’ thing started about 8 months ago after a Zwift update I think!

I’ll try contacting Apple and see if they are aware of the issue from other users. I contacted Zwift at the time but they weren’t able to find a solution.

This is definitely a Zwift problem. There are other old threads here w/people experiencing the same issue (i.e., take pic w/companion, remove HUD, get black upload) There doesn’t appear to be a pattern either. Windows, AppleTV, iPhone companion, android companion, iPad, etc., all sorts of combinations w/the same issue.

With the latest update yesterday I’ve lost the connection with Strava. Is was greyed out. My ride of yesterday evening wasn’t uploaded.

Here here! I can’t remember which bike to choose! Be good if we can sell them back for, say, 50% of the drop price?
