Constantly frozen screens during trainingsessions. Mostly in the first 10 minutes of the training. When screen freezes the sound is still going, and in the top of the window it says (‘zwift doesn’t respond’). I’ve to quit Zwift and restart it (and start a workout all over again). Sometimes the same thing happens again after restarting. Never had this problem before! What’s happening?
What device are you running Zwift on?
Hi @Paul_Morrison4, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Dealing with a crash every 10 minutes while working out is such a pain, especially when all you want to do is ride without any issues.
I took a look at your log server files from January 12, 2025, while you were using your PC and noticed that your GPU is the Nvidia Quadro 1000M. When comparing it to the Intel HD 4000 on the UserBenchmark website, the performance of your GPU is slightly better by about 1%. Keep in mind that the Intel HD 4000 meets the minimum requirements for games, especially those needing 1GB of dedicated GPU, whether it’s an embedded Intel HD 4000 or an AMD R5.
I recommend checking for any driver updates on the Nvidia website for your specific model. Additionally, make sure to look for any Windows updates and then do a fresh reinstall of Zwift.
I’d recommend clearing up the RAM to isolate any overlapping issues, even though you have 16 GB.
In addition to that, try to set the resolution to 720p and if your device supports Video Screenshots in Zwift, you’ll see an option to disable the feature under Settings>Preferences: The option is enabled by default, but you can disable it.
