Same in my case. The memory utilization is back to the usual values ![]()
The crash issue has now been resolved for me as well. The credit has also been issued in the meantime. Thank you for your support and for the great job you’re doing!
I am having the same issues ryzen 9
I use a HP Elitebook 845 G7 with an AMD integrated GPU (AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U with Radeon Graphics) on Windows 11 - the Zwift app has also the latest update. Unfortunately the App is constantly feezing - sometimes during LogIn procedure, but latest every time when you end a ride and want to save it - as soon as you click on save and upload it on Strava it’s gone and the app is frozen. This is really annoying and we will not use Zwift anymore soon….
Any ideas to help @evan-zwift? I assume that the Zwift app needs an update in order to run more stable….
Disable the video screenshots setting in Zwift if you haven’t already
My wife just cycled in Zwift - I got to the settings in Order to disable it - after changed the settings I moved to “Okay” and when clicking the app crashed during the ride….
I do not believe that it helps overall - I will try again…..very disappointing experience with the app at all
Sorry to hear that. I’m not hearing widespread problems with systems like yours currently (unlike when this topic was created - that affected everyone). Other things to try would be latest Radeon drivers, reducing screen resolution setting in Zwift, reducing the frame rate in GPU settings. Other than that, send your game logs to support@zwift.com and see if they can spot something since they have more visibility into the game on your system.
Hi Paul - after starting the game now once again - I saw that the settings have been not changed when I have done it during my wife’s ride and the following crash. I changed the settings now according to your recommendations and could also save it. I started a ride to start the game and test to end the ride several times with middle and high settings for graphics. Both worked now which means I could end the ride without crashing of the Zwift app. Hope for the best that this will last for upcoming rides.
Thank you very much for your help and have a nice evening!
He is not alone….
@Dominik_K does your graphics driver crash too when starting zwift?
Hi Arhu - no my graphics driver is not crashing when starting Zwift
but your game freezes but you still hear the sounds playing too?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a brand-new gaming notebook/tablet, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13, and did a completely fresh Windows installation with the official ASUS drivers.
Unfortunately, Zwift crashes immediately on startup. I managed to get it running by copying my prefs.xml from an old laptop and setting Fullscreen = 1. In fullscreen mode, Zwift runs perfectly at 120–140 FPS.
However, I would really like to run Zwift in windowed mode. As soon as I switch to windowed mode, Zwift crashes every time (see screenshot). I’ve already tried all kinds of settings in AMD Adrenalin, but nothing helped so far.
I’ve been using Zwift since 2016 on many different devices, and I’m a bit disappointed that I’m running into these issues on such powerful, modern gaming hardware.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this or how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
Zwift Support, any solution for this?
The bug that is the subject of this topic was fixed a while ago, but there have been two recent reports of problems from people using the Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 so I think there is something going on with that.
