Fitbit sync broken?

Every time I link my account to Fitbit, it syncs once at the time of connection, then never again. If I open my account page later, the connection is no longer active and I can go through and do it again - for a single sync. I don’t think my account has been google-ified - as far as I know it’s a plain Fitbit account, at least for now.

This used to work reliably for quite a while, but for months now it’s been like this - with maybe occasional periods of proper operation. I’m honestly not sure, I have almost given up on the idea of keeping my weight accurate at this point.

Does this work reliably for anyone else? Is the Fitbit integration going the way of Withings, which stopped working for years and was then quietly dropped?

Yeah it’s not working for me either…sometimes i get 2-3days of sync and then i have to relink the account again. This has been going on for a while. There is a few posts about it from last year.

I’m Fernanda, from Zwift.

Could you please make sure to check your Fitbit app and ensure that the data access for the Zwift app is set to “allow all” instead of “weight only” as in the picture below? Based on previous experiences of other Zwifters, this step may help resolve the issue you are facing.

The connection already shows access to weight, profile, friends (see below). Interestingly it shows as Approved on March 27th, while I have re-created the connection several times since then. When I reconnect I am not shown the dialog you post (though I have seen it in the past). It simply goes to the Fitbit site and redirects me back to zwift.com instantly without any interaction.

I should probably also correct my first post. I’ve paid closer attention over the past week, and I do (at least sometimes) get more than a single sync. As Dejan says, it seems 2-3 days is about the limit.
