I haven’t Zwifted 15 days, been riding outside. My CycleOps Hammer 2 was working great until today. Zwift did an update today when I logged on (last time was June 9th) and all was fine until mile 7 during 3R Classique Flat race today. I got dropped and could not catch the group I was with no matter how fast I sprinted. Then I noticed that the Power was stuck a 208W with Cadence of 84rpm. This did not represent the actual power and cadence I was producing. The miles were ticking away and I completed the race with approximately 10 miles at steady 84rpm and 208W. hHe H2 was still paired, heart rate worked properly. Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue was that caused this?
It’s unusual for the wattage to get stuck at a set value during a regular SIM mode ride/race so it’s definitely something that our support team should take a look at and investigate. Oftentimes, updating the trainer firmware can resolve a variety of issues so if that’s something you haven’t done recently, I recommend checking for any updates.
If that doesn’t help, please submit a support request if you haven’t already done so, and a Zwift team member will be happy to take a closer look at this matter.
