I am finally placing the order to buy the Zwift Ride smarter Frame to use it with my Elite Direto XR-T trainer (with the last FW update which makes it compatible) and I see it comes with the Zwift Cog (no Freehub)
Question is what to do with the hub? I have a hub from a shimano cassette, so should I mount this one?
You have removed the freehub from the trainer. You need to put it back on the trainer and remove the cassette from the freehub. You need a Shimano lockring tool and a chain whip to remove the old cassette and install the cog.

How could you remove the Shimano free hub? Iām struggling with getting it removedā¦ any ideas or experiences?
Why are you trying to remove it? You should be able to install the Cog just like it was a cassette. Take it off from its supplier freehub and then install it onto your trainerās freehub. If you donāt have the tools to do that, then any bike shop will be able to do it for you.
