Elite Direto trainer not adding resistance on Zwift climbs

I spent weeks with Elite Support then took the trainer back to my Local Bike Shop.

They had it for a month then shipped it back to the Elite distributor in Montreal. The distributor installed a new motherboard but still couldnt resolve the issue. They offered me a new Direto XR at what, in late summer seemed like a fairly attractive price.

Weeks later the discounted price they offered appeared appeared to be the average retail price and now it appears the price I paid was $200 above today’s pricing. Sigh.

All told, not a satisfactory outcome despite best efforts from all concerned.

My Direto XR have the same issue and it started last winter. Before it worked well with structured workouts with ERG. I do not know where to contact. Trainer difficulty have no effect either. I haven’t tested it with any other application.

Test it with the Elite My E-Training app. If any issues there, talk to Elite support.

As Paul said, try it with Elite’s MyEtraining app. Use it in Level Mode and try manually adjusting the resistance up and down to see if you can feel that working.
