Dropping watts in erg mode

Hey,
When ever I do work outs using erg mode the watts drop by up to 60 watts every minute or so.
I have a wahoo kickr core connected via Bluetooth to a new Samsung galaxy tab A9+.
I tried using a ANT+ dongle, which involved the downloading of all the apps. I could connect it but still had the same issue. I was getting pretty frustrated by this point and just gave in to the watts dropping whilst using Bluetooth.
I’m not that great with all this technology, is there something I’m missing?

What happens when you test ERG mode in the Wahoo app? If it happens there as well, contact Wahoo support

Hey @Blake_Hoffmann Welcome to the Forums! I’m Norman from Zwift.

When a third-party trainer reports inaccurate wattage, the best is to test it on the manufacturer’s app which would be the Wahoo Fitness App, do a spindown calibration, and check you have the latest firmware version.

Because Zwift limits itself to just reading the power your trainer is generating, it’s rare that inaccurate readings are happening because of Zwift. If the wattage is inaccurate on the Wahoo App, you should contact Wahoo Support.

If the wattage is inaccurate only on Zwift, we’d like you to contact us so we can hear more!

Thanks for the advice guys.
I tried running erg mode through the wahoo app and got the same problem.
I’ve contacted wahoo support. I guess I’ll wait and see how that goes
