Hi,
Trainer: Direto XR-T Smart Trainer. I run Zwift on my iPad 6th Gen (Version 17.5.1) and it works completely fine when I do a free ride or workout. Once I race, I drop connection about 50% of the time. Sometimes my zwift character just stops moving and everyone rides away from me, or, everyone disappears entirely and it says connection is lost. I turn off just about everything else that uses Wifi in my house.
What is the issue? Any help would be amazing!
Any chance you’re using a fan, or some other electric device, nearby only during races?
I do use a box fan, plugged into the same power strip. I use it for most easy rides as well, but on the highest setting during races.
Interesting. Maybe try moving it to a different location to see if the issue persists, or disappears. (And hopefully someone else on here will have a better diagnosis!)
