It’s come to our attention that updating Samsung S20 to Android 13 breaks ANT support. This was reported on the ANT+ Alliance support forum.

Same here, pity Samsung have not reported this anomaly.
Does this include the A71? It was working fine and now I cannot get my garmin to connect. Even though everything is connected on the app?

Zwift on Android 13 BT not detecting my bike.
I tested on 2 devices running Android 13.
However, with other Android 12 device, the bike can be discovered thru BT.
NrF and BLE scans on Android 13 shows the equipment as N/A.
NrF and BLE scans on Android 12 shows the equipment name (bike).

i have yet to see Android 13 device with ANT+ support in firmware, it seems that many companies see it as unnecessary feature and even if phone has ant+ hardware it just is not accesible and ant+ permission are not available, this trend started with Android 12 and it seems to be spreading
I just bought myself a used S20 Ultra 5G that is updated to Android 13.
I also updated the ANT+ drivers from Google Play as ANT+ is embedded on this model.
Zwift worked just fine for both cycling and running.
