I have confirmed that omnium is in the list of “Supported Wheel-on Trainers”,
but why can I only select classic in the power estimation mode in the game’s settings menu?
Looking at their website it’s because it’s not a smart trainer. So Zwift uses a known power curve for the unit based on your rear wheel speed:
- Compatible with cycling apps: Zwift, The Sufferfest, TrainerRoad, Rouvy Virtual Power, vPower and Kinomap traditional trainer features*
*Requires ANT+ or Bluetooth rear wheel speed sensor
