Deleting old custom workouts

I delete old custom workouts in the Zwift folder on my laptop. But when i load zwift and open workouts/custom they all reappear again. How do i stop this? TIA

You need to either delete them in zwift Custom Workouts or manually add a deleted line to the workouts.files file.

    <custom_file>
        <name>4Wk_FTP_Booster/Week2/Tempo_with_Finale.zwo</name>
        <time>1702588908</time>
        <guid>22274</guid>
        <checksum>143</checksum>
        <deleted>false</deleted>
    </custom_file>

By default deleted is set to false. If you delete the workout like you did and set the deleted line to true, zwift will properly delete it the next time it is launched.

Hi @_One.Mile.More6559, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

Since you’ve already checked our Deleting a Custom Workout article, I’d also recommend this community thread. Other Zwifters have shared steps there that worked well; you might want to check.

Thanks for posting.

Ride On.

deleted them all manually on Zwift, they just came back. And i dont see where the true/false part of the workout name is to change. I just have - 2023-03-01_IndoorPowe.zwo - as the file names?
