I was riding “Roule Ma Poule” in Tour de Zwift today. In an event then you can’t change your route at all; you can’t turn left or right or make a U-turn. Even so, soon after the “Roule Ma Poule” event started then the Ventoux KOM appeared on the left side, even if we were clearly on the (reverse) Petit KOM. The climb profile on the minimap was also incorrect and showing the Ventoux KOM profile when it should have been showing the (reverse) Petit KOM profile.
I have often noticed this before on Watopia when free-riding or riding with Pace Partners, that the profile is incorrect and not showing the route I’m on and this behaviour could be argued then. But not in events, hence this defect:
Expected #1 (in events): That KOMs and sprints shown are the ones relevant to the route and no other KOM or sprint is shown. That the climb profile is relevant to the event route.
Expected #2 (when riding with Pace Partners): That KOMs and sprints shown are the ones relevant to the Pace Partner’s route and no other KOM or sprint is shown. That the climb profile is relevant to the Pace Partner’s route.
Expected #3 (when free-riding with no manual turns): That KOMs and sprints shown are the ones relevant to the route selection route and no other KOM or sprint is shown. That the climb profile is relevant to the route selection route.
Expected #4 (when free-riding with manual turns): That KOMs and sprints shown and the climb profile are common and sensible defaults. Ventoux KOM is neither common nor sensible when riding in France, the Petit KOM is.
Observed: When riding “Roule Ma Poule” in an event organized by Zwift then Ventoux KOM was shown instead of the route’s Petit KOM and the climb profile was the wrong Ventoux KOM’s instead of the connect Petit KOM’s.
