Hi, I’ve purchased a Cycplus R200. It works perfectly fine in ERG Mode, but in SIM mode gradient changes are not picked up. Everything is flat. What can I do? Trainer difficulty is set to 100%.
Kind regards

Probably best to contact Cycplus. I think you’re the first person to ever mention that trainer here. Once you’re that far out of the mainstream it’s hard to find people who might share your experience. (And I hope you will report back if you figure it out.)
Any chance there’s a Cycplus update that needs to be installed?
Looks like there is a Cycplus community Discord server that has firmware announcements: Community – CYCPLUS
Thanks, subscribed and waiting for approval. Checked with other virtual training apps, there the trainer works as expected. Really strange. Went on Oh Hill, No and did a few U turns with difficulty set to 0% and 100%, nothing. Everywhere else it works.
Have you asked Zwift support to look at your game logs? If it works in ERG mode in Zwift then I’m guessing you have it all paired correctly so I’m not sure what else you could do, aside from checking for trainer firmware in the Cycplus app.
Found a solution. I had to delete the prefs.xml file from Zwift’s data folder. After that the trainer came alive in free mode. Hurray!
In the meantime Cycplus and Zwift also offered some troubleshooting, will let them know that I figured it out myself.
Which pairing method were you using? Bluetooth? ANT+?
Bluetooth. I’ve switched from a Van Rysel D100 to the Cycplus and maybe twitched up the config which prevented the Cycplus to work properly.
